Culture is an important part of Sutherland Shire's make-up, thanks to a vibrant program of community cultural events, a unique gallery and arts centre and a huge entertainment centre.

Filming and Photography in the Sutherland Shire Sutherland Shire Council encourages film projects in the Shire. We adhere to the local Government Filming Protocol 2009. Income received from filming fees will be directed to local film projects
