In 2009, Council is bringing the Australian Theatre of the Deaf to the Sutherland Shire.
There will be two performances for primary school children on Monday 28 September at the Sutherland Entertainment Centre at 10am and 1pm.
The performances are for students with hearing-impairment or deafness, students who have family members with hearing-impairment or any students interested in an exciting mime production!
All Sutherland Shire schools are invited and, as seating is strictly limited, bookings are essential.
Council and the Australian Theatre of the Deaf are also presenting a drama workshop aimed at local hearing-impaired youth or adults interested in theatre and our local theatre industry workers (community and professional).
The workshop will be held at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Flora Street, Sutherland.
7pm, Wednesday 30 September.
Numbers are strictly limited and bookings are essential.
To book, contact Trish Anderson on 9710 0993 during business hours or email to planderson@ssc.nsw.gov.au.
Our interactive jazz concert last year, starring the Kym Staton Big Band, was a great success!
